2005 - 2008• I am the head of Market/Business Intelligence division, responsible to conduct all qualitative and quantitative market research for corporate sales and editorial divisions (supporting 18 titles, including Expansión, Quién, Instyle, Elle, Travel & Leisure, Vuelo, Quo, etc). In this regard, I am actaully doing benchmarks with Time Inc. market intelligence division to bring innovative research techniques to mexican editorial industry.
• Also, I generate market reports/presentations using syndicated media studies to support sales executives and to facilitate the decision making of our company´s sales strategies.
ACHIEVEMENTS:
Innovating market research in the media industry:
1) Mexican Luxury Market Study (first in its kind in Mexico). Actually delivering results to our luxury market clients in Mexico and the U.S. (near 300 CEO´s and Executives have seen it). Next December I will be a speaker at the Global Luxury Forum in Moscow, talking about Mexico´s luxury market.
2) Readers satisfaction studies to improve our products editorial quality (first in its kind in Mexico).
2002 - 2005• Hotel feasibility studies (market analysis).
• Elaboration of reports regarding economic and tourism / hospitality markets trend analysis (this reports were delivered to the board of directors, sales and development personnel).
• Elaboration of several reports regarding U.S. and Mexico´s consumer trends (basically analysing trends in the travel industry)
• Coordination of studies done by other consultancy agencies regarding Fiesta Americana and Fiesta Inn brands performance (Top of Mind, Share of mind, Brand Equity etc).
• Strategic analysis for Posada´s Hotels (searching to improve pricing and overall managing performance).
