I'm in charge of developing business activities, such as increasing market share/user base, developping consulting and services in North Latin America para el software AGM Recon (Colombia, Venezuela, Mexico)

My role involves two principal activities:
> business management and development for reservoir services activities in Mexico
> business development of foreign (principally European) leading-edge software technology in Mexico through partnerships

After the merger Earth Decision->Paradigm in July 2006, I was offered the Field Operation Manager position for the Mexico office.
Developing consulting services activity in Mexico was truly a challenge since Paradigm was at that time still strongly oriented as a software company, with little consideration for consulting business.
I started managing a 12-consultant team in early 2007, which performance was based on heroic isolated individual efforts. By the end of 2007, I had created an organical structure of 50 consultants, team leaders and area services managers, which was deployed all over Mexico. This controlled, stable and repeatable business generated over 10+ MUSD of yearly gross revenue in 2007.
My main activities included:
• Recruiting and training over 30 consultants in 2007
• Implementing regional software training programs
• Developing retention policy
• P/L Management
• Customer Support, Integrated Studies and Seismic Processing Projects Management

I joined Earth Decision in oct 2004 and worked for 2 years in boosting software sales and services activities in Mexico, making local business growing from start-up to a multi-million USD revenue business
• Business development of Earth Decision in Mexico for 2+ years (oct 2004 – jan 2006)
• Recruiting and managing 7 consultants for customer support and consulting services project
• Integration of Earth Decision Mexico team with Paradigm Mexico team after Earth Decision – Paradigm merger, preserving consulting force integrity

This leadership position was also completed by a few consulting activies, such as:
• Fine Internal Velocity modeling for Muxub-Ixtoc location, Cantarell Field, Mexico (2005)
• Fast-track evaluation and prospect detection for a CSM potentially interesting area, Burgos Basin, Mexico (2005)

After the merger Flagship->Paradigm in 2001, I joined the local Paradigm team in Mexico as a pre-sales/technical consultant.
During those years, my main activities were mainly driven by technical project works, such as integrated studies and prospect generation projects and pre-sales activities.
Those activities covered the following disciplines:

• Structural interpretation in a extensive shale-tectonics basin, Fortuna Nacional field and Vernet field, Macuspana Basin, Mexico

• Salt interpretation, Marbella Cinco Presidentes, Mexico

• Seismic facies classification for Fortuna Nacional field, Macuspana Basin, Mexico

• Pore pressure prediction, Maximo field (Aguas Profundas), Camargo (Burgos) and Macuspana Basin, Mexico

• Structural framework modeling, and velocity modeling for Marbella Cinco Presidentes, Mexico

• Fast-track evaluation and prospect characterization for Chairel field, Tampico Area, Mexico, and Ensenada field, Puerto La Cruz, Venezuela
